2020 // A Year in Review
Every year I take this opportunity to thank all of those who invited me into their lives and allowed me to capture their stories. Let me just say that after the unprecedented and challenging year 2020 became, I would like to thank you all, TIMES 10. There are so many things I could say about 2020, but I’ll just let the photos do the talking.

Happy Hour FaceTime Sessions
Quarantine was a tumultuous time and I wanted nothing more than to hunker down with my wife and kids, but I felt drawn to do something more. To document these unprecedented times somehow. I’d seen some photographers (shoutout Abbey Moore) doing virtual photo sessions via FaceTime and decided this was the only way to truly capture what life was like during that initial quarantine. For so many people across the globe, FaceTime and Zoom provided the only means for social interaction. These virtual photo sessions were a way to tap into that. They were a window into what was keeping people sane and what quarantine life was like across the country. From Detroit, Seattle, Colorado, and LA to right here in northern Michigan.
We made it, y’all. Cheers to 2021!
