When I started this business 11 years ago I was just trying to do what everyone else was doing at the time… making pretty pictures on peoples’ wedding days. Over the years, I started to realize that the best images came from the moments-in-between. When you see your friend for the first time in 5 years who traveled across the country to be with you on your wedding day, your dad running his fingers through his hair looking like the Marlboro man, the butterfly that landed on your bouquet and then decided to attack the groomsmen (all true stories). The joy, the love, the tears, the embrace. The moments that will bring all the emotions rushing back 30 years from now when you catch a glimpse of one of your wedding photos on the wall. My job is to insert myself into your day, to watch it unfold, to witness and document. Yes, we do portraits, but in a laid back and fun manner… and then we let you get back to enjoying your people on one of the best days of your life. Your wedding day can fly by, which is why it’s so important to be present and drink it all in. So, you concentrate on enjoying your people and I’ll capture the moments that will take you back.
