Theresa and Mike stood face to face, hand in hand, with their family on one side and a view of Lake Michigan on the other. A wall of french doors separated them from the churning water and November gales that blew over the lake that day. This is the safe place they created. A warm room filled with the smiling faces of their friends and family and most importantly, each other. In that room they became husband and wife and now they are each other’s safe place.
